Jobless generation puts brakes on US –

I’m still optimistic, believe it or not – but as this article makes clear, there is a difference between a short- or even medium-term trend, and something that, even if fixed, will have repercussions far into the future. It may be that the tail-end millennials – the ones who are still in high school and who can (presumably) learn from the horror show they are witnessing – will be the luckiest ones, and that we will eventually talk about early millennials and late millennials almost as two separate generations.
