Klotho is a hormone associated with longevity: scientists have established that people may live longer if they have high levels of Klotho in their bodies. But now there’s evidence that Klotho may also improve cognitive performance. The findings could lead to new ways of treating everything from Alzheimer’s to schizophrenia.
