The start of a trend? Law schools fighting…to let you in!

It seems the law of supply and demand might be starting to work its magic on an institution that once considered itself immune — higher education.

A combination of too-high tuition and too-few jobs (compounded by too-low starting salaries) is cutting into law school enrollment so severely that law schools are actually having to compete for students.

It looks  good on them. Maybe the trend will spill over into the humanities, who relentless drive to make themselves ever more irrelevant (while charging higher and higher fees) surely deserves a good slap from the “invisible hand.”
